# Managing arrival-order scheduling

> Turn the Service Request arrival-order setting on or off and confirm that the change saved.

Use arrival-order scheduling when your shop serves service-request customers in the order they arrive. The customer picks a date, and your shop holds no time slot.

TireTutor calls the setting **First Come First Served**. This page covers the **Service Request** setting.

## Turn on arrival-order scheduling

**When:** Your shop accepts service requests by date and serves customers in arrival order.

You need **Admin** or **Owner** access to this shop, or to its dealer account, to change this setting. Otherwise, ask an **Owner** or **Admin** at your shop.

## What the customer sees

The service-request form asks the customer for a preferred date. It does not ask for a time.

A note on the form tells the customer that your location is first come, first serve for appointment dates. It asks the customer to contact your shop to arrange otherwise.

The confirmation email tells the customer that your shop reserves no specific time slot. It asks the customer to arrive during business hours for service in order of arrival.

Your lead notification email shows **Appointment Type: First Come First Serve** and the date the customer requested.
