# Drag and Drop Functionality in Estimates & Work Orders

> Here's how to use drag and drop functionality to move items into different categories within estimates and work orders.

## Here's how to drag a part into the appropriate section of the work order so everything associated with a particular service is grouped together.

Step 1: Open an estimate or work order.

Step 2: Add a service.

Step 3: Click "+ PartsTech" to add a part to the work order.

Step 4: Search for the part inside the PartsTech catalog.

Step 5: Click "Add to Quote" once you find the part you want.

Step 6: Click "Submit Quote" if you are working on an estimate, or "Buy Now" if you are in a work order. The part will now be added to the estimate or work order.

Step 7: You'll see that the part now appears in a newly created section called "Parts." Click "Edit Services".

Step 8: Drag the new part into the service category you want.

Step 9: Delete the "Parts" group once you've moved all parts to the appropriate jobs within the estimate or work order.

Step 10: Delete any unnecessary parts that came through with the pre-configured menu item.

Step 11: Click "save".
