Everything on this page happens in Employees → Manage Users in your TireTutor dashboard, on the page titled Your Team.
The dashboard side menu with Employees open. Under it are Time Tracking, Employee History, Manage Users and Recruiting. Manage Users has a NEW badge.

Open Employees in the side menu to find Manage Users.

Changes apply to the dealership of the store selected at the top left. If you run more than one dealership, switch to one of its stores first.
Only a dealership Owner or Administrator sees Manage Users. If you’re not one, ask a dealership Owner to make the change for you. Administrators add people as User, or at a higher role at stores where they’re the Owner. If Employees is missing from your side menu, someone may have hidden it. Open Hidden Menus at the bottom of the menu to find it. Customizing the menu shows how to bring it back.If Employees is there but Manage Users isn’t under it, your dealership doesn’t have Manage Users turned on. The link above opens your dashboard home instead. Contact support.

Add a team member

When: Someone joins your team and needs access to your stores.
If the email address already has a TireTutor login, that person gets access as soon as you select Invite. They don’t get an email and don’t need to accept. Only invite people you trust with your dealership’s data.
1

Select Add Member

The Add member dialog opens.
2

Type their email address

3

Leave All stores, including stores you open later, checked

They get access to every store, including stores you open later.
4

Choose their Permission level

It starts at User. Only Owners see this list. Administrators always add people as User.
The Add member dialog. The Email field holds an address. The All stores checkbox has a check mark. The Permission level list reads User.

The Add member dialog with every store included.

5

Select Invite

A confirmation message appears. Someone new to TireTutor shows up on the Pending Invitations tab and gets an email with a link to create their login. Someone who already has a login shows up on the Active Members tab right away.

Add someone to only some of your stores

When: Someone works at only one or a few of your stores.
1

Select Add Member

2

Type their email address

3

Uncheck All stores, including stores you open later

A Store access list appears with every store, all unchecked.
4

Check each store they need

Each store you check starts at User. The count above the list shows how many you’ve checked.
5

Choose a Permission level for each checked store

Administrators can only choose User, except at stores where they’re the Owner.
The Add member dialog with the All stores checkbox unchecked. The Store access list shows three stores. Two have check marks, one at Administrator and one at User. The third reads No access. The heading reads 2 stores selected.

6

Select Invite

Invite stays grayed out until you check at least one store.
They can access only the stores you checked, at the role you chose for each. They don’t get stores you open later, and they can’t open Manage Users.

Resend or cancel an invitation

When: An invitation email went missing, or you invited the wrong address.
1

Open the Pending Invitations tab

Each card shows the email address, their role, who sent the invitation, and when it expires.
A pending invitation card for an invited address. The lines below give the role invited, the sender, and the sent and expiration dates. Resend and Cancel sit at the right.

One pending invitation. Resend sends a fresh link; Cancel stops the invitation.

2

Find the address

3

Select Resend or Cancel

Resend sends a new email with a new link, and the earlier link stops working. Cancel asks you to confirm.
4

To cancel, select Cancel invitation

Select Keep instead to leave the invitation as it is.
A dialog asks whether to cancel the invitation to the invited address. The body says the person can no longer join your team with this invitation. Keep and Cancel invitation sit below.

The confirmation. Keep leaves the invitation in place.

Administrators can cancel any invitation, but they can resend only invitations for a role they’re allowed to give. On other invitations, Resend appears grayed out, and hovering over it shows Only an owner can resend this invitation. Inviting the same email address again replaces the pending invitation. Only the link in the newest email works.

Change someone’s role or stores

When: You promote someone, or they move to a different store. Each person has one of three roles at every store they can access. With All stores, including stores you open later checked, they have the same role at every store, including stores you add later. Only a dealership Owner can change Dealer level or the All stores, including stores you open later checkbox. Administrators can change a role only at stores where they’re the Owner.
1

Open the Active Members tab

2

Select the pencil icon next to their name

The pencil is View details. Their details open in a panel on the right.
3

Choose all stores or specific stores

Check All stores, including stores you open later to give them one role everywhere. Uncheck it to set each store separately. They then get only the stores you check, not stores you open later.
4

Set their role

With the box checked, pick a role under Dealer level. When you save, every store switches to that role, even where they had a higher or lower one.

A Changes saved. message appears. With All stores, including stores you open later checked, it also says how many stores had their role changed.

Remove someone from your team

When: Someone leaves your dealership.
They lose access to your dealership and all of its stores, and you can’t undo this. They keep their TireTutor login and any access they have at other dealerships. To bring them back, invite them again.
Only a dealership Owner can remove people. You can’t remove yourself or the last Owner.
1

Open the Active Members tab

2

Select Remove from team next to their name

Remove from team is the red trash can icon. You can also select Remove followed by their name, at the bottom of their details panel.
3

Select Remove to confirm

A dialog asks whether to remove Kevin Patel from your team. The body says they lose access to this dealer and all its stores, while their TireTutor account stays. Cancel and Remove sit below.

The confirmation from the trash can icon says what the person keeps and what they lose.

They no longer appear on the Active Members list.
