Voiding keeps the order and its reason on file. For example, void an unpaid order when the customer misses the appointment.
Only an Owner or Admin for the shop can void a work order. The order must have no payments and show In Progress.

Void the work order

When: The work order must remain on file but no longer belongs in active work.

Open the work order

Open the work order that you need to void.

Open More Options

Select More Options.

Choose Void Work Order

Select Void Work Order.

Enter the reason

Enter a reason in Reason/Notes. This field is required.

Confirm the void

Select Void.
The status chip shows Voided. Point to the information icon beside the order number to see Voiding Reason/Notes:.
TireTutor releases the inventory allocated to the order. You cannot reopen a voided order.

Find a voided work order

The work-order list hides voided orders by default.

Open the work-order list

Open the list of work orders.

Show voided orders

Select the Voided status filter.

Find the order

Use Search Voided Work Orders to find the order.
The list shows the order with the Voided status.
