Your reports open inside TireTutor. Each report is a page in the report area, with its own filters at the top. Some shops show Reports & Data to every user. Others limit it to Owners and Admins. If you do not see Reports & Data, ask your shop’s owner. To change the shop-wide setting, contact support. If the page shows Access Restricted, your account does not have access. If the page shows Upgrade Now instead of a report, your shop has no report set up yet. Contact support.

Open the reports

1

Open Reports & Data

Select Reports & Data in the sidebar, or the Reports & Data button at the top of the page.
2

Pick a report

Select a page from the row of tabs at the top of the report area.
The pages are Charge Accounts, Sales Journal, Profit, Inventory, Tires Sold Insights, Vendors, and Employee Reporting. Use the arrows at the end of the row to reach the pages that do not fit.
The report page opens with its filters at the top and its tables below.

Read the Sales Journal

Use Sales Journal to reconcile a day or a period. It shows what you collected, what you invoiced, and what you refunded.
1

Open Sales Journal

Select Sales Journal.
2

Set the period

Set Payment Date. The default is today. Select the field to choose a different day or a range.
3

Read the totals

Read Net Total Payments Collected, Net Invoices Completed (including tax), and Refunds Given.
4

Find an invoice

Filter by Invoice No or Customer Name to narrow the table.
The Sales Journal (Completed Invoices) table lists one row per completed invoice. Its columns are Invoice No, Sequence No, Payment Date, Customer Name, Net Total, Tax, Subtotal, and Payment Details.
The totals and the table match the Payment Date you set. No data means you completed no invoices in that period.

Read the Profit page

Use Profit to see revenue and estimated gross profit for the year, quarter, and month to date. Each figure compares with the same period in the previous year, quarter, or month. The page uses costs from purchase orders and invoices processed through TireTutor, or the manual entry in your inventory when a purchase order is missing. Without either, it overstates gross profit. It excludes payroll and updates every hour.
1

Open Profit

Select Profit.
2

Read the revenue tiles

Read Total Revenue YTD, QTD, and MTD. They exclude tax.
3

Read the comparisons

Read Year Over Year Pacing, Quarter Over Quarter Pacing, and Month Over Month Pacing.
4

Read the gross profit tiles

Read Total Gross Profit YTD, QTD, and MTD.
5

Set the labor assumptions

Under Labor Controls, set Labor Cost with the slider. Choose whether to Include Labor in GP.
6

Narrow the weekly chart

Filter by Order Number or Week of Invoice Date to change the Gross Profit Per Week chart.
7

Narrow the invoice detail

Set Invoice Date to change the totals and the Invoices table below the chart.
The Invoices table shows one row per invoice. Each row has parts revenue, labor revenue, total revenue, last parts cost, labor hours, and the gross profit and margin for parts and for labor. Treat this page as an operational view. Use your accounting statements for payroll, overhead, tax, and adjustments.
The tiles and the Invoices table update when you change the filters.
