What the customer can pay with
The payment page behind the link takes a card, a direct bank transfer under Pay directly from your bank (ACH), Cash App Pay, and Afterpay. Express checkout offers Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Apple Pay works in Safari on an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Afterpay depends on the invoice amount and Square eligibility. Each of these needs the customer’s own phone or computer. They suit a customer who reads the invoice themselves, not one who reads a card out to you.Take payment with Tap to Pay
To accept the payment in person with Tap to Pay, use the Square app on your phone. Square controls that flow inside its own app. Follow Square’s guides for Tap to Pay on iPhone or Tap to Pay on Android.Replace or cancel a link
Sending a second link creates a new Square invoice and cancels the first one. TireTutor still issues the new link if that cancellation fails. Before you share the replacement link, check the Square Dashboard for the earlier invoice. If it still shows as open, cancel it there. TireTutor has no cancel button for a payment link, so cancel the Square invoice in the Square Dashboard instead. After payment, the work order records it under Payments.
