Get more cars in your bays. Without calling a single customer. Most shop owners know the math. A customer comes in for an oil change in November. They drive away. Five months later, they need another — but they go to Jiffy Lube, because Jiffy Lube is what they remember. SMS Remarketing is how you stop losing those visits.

What it is

SMS Remarketing is a feature inside TireTutor’s Shop Management System (SMS). When you log service in your POS, it watches the cadence. Months later — when your customer’s next oil change, rotation, or new tires are due — TireTutor sends a short email from your shop’s name. The customer sees your shop in their inbox. They reply right to you. The Schedule button takes them to your tiretutor.com page.

Why this design

Four principles guide every choice in how the program runs:
  • Sent from your shop. Not “TireTutor.” Customers open it because they recognize you.
  • Based on real work. No mass blasts. No demographic guessing. If you did the oil change in November, the reminder goes out in April.
  • Replies land in your inbox. Same as if you’d written it yourself.
  • Turn it on once. TireTutor handles the rest. No day-to-day work for you.
These aren’t features — they’re constraints. Each one rules out things the program could be (a blast tool, a TireTutor-branded marketing channel, a third-party send) and rules in what it actually is (your shop’s customer relationship, extended automatically).

What’s covered

Full cadence overview on the reference page — including exact intervals, mileage gates, and the POS service names that trigger each cadence.

Who it’s not for

  • Shops that don’t log service work in TireTutor POS
  • Shops running their own email marketing program that want full creative control
  • Multi-location chains running corporate campaigns from a central marketing team
  • Shops that want to send promotions, coupons, or sales blasts
If that’s you, your TireTutor contact will tell you so.
