The setup steps open for an owner or administrator of a new account, right
after they confirm their first shop. If they do not open for you, set up your
taxes, shop fees, labor rate and distributors in Shop Settings. See

your taxes, the first of the four steps.

Finish setup
Select Finish setup. Your TireTutor dashboard opens.
Skip a step
Select Skip for now to leave a step for later. TireTutor asks you first:- Select Skip for now in the dialog to move on.
- Select Stay to go back to the step.

Skipping asks first, and names the step you are leaving.
Move on without saving your changes
A step saves only when you select its save button. If you change a field and then select Continue, TireTutor asks before it moves on:- Select Go back to return to the step. Then save your changes.
- Select Continue without saving to leave the changes unsaved.

Continue asks first when a step has changes you have not saved.
Finish setup now or later
The last step, Your shop is ready, lists each setting as set up or skipped. Each skipped setting has a link, such as Set up distributors in Settings, that opens its Settings page.
The summary lists what you set up and links each skipped step to Settings.
- Finish setup completes setup for your whole business. The steps stop opening by themselves, for you and for every other administrator.
- Finish later, at the top of every step, closes the steps for you only. Another administrator of your business still sees them.
Change a setting later
To find taxes, shop fees and labor rates:- In the left menu, select Shop Settings → More Settings.
- In the settings menu, under Organization, select Taxes, Shop Fees or Labor Rates.
