Cadence overview
The typical cadence describes a service interval. It does not guarantee a reminder on that date.
TireTutor also recognizes longer-interval work, such as brake service, coolant flushes, transmission service, and spark plugs. A reminder for those depends on the customer’s recorded mileage. See Other services.
A few things to know
- Oil changes and tire rotations follow calendar timing. The mileage figures in those two cards describe typical service intervals.
- Several other services use mileage estimates. Tire replacement, air filters, and wheel alignment can come due earlier by mileage.
- Tire installs count as rotation events. A tire-install service group starts the rotation interval without a separate rotation group.
- Mileage comes from your work orders. TireTutor estimates a customer’s monthly mileage from the odometer readings you record. When mileage drives a reminder, the email says so in a small italic line under the service card.
